Ulrica Hydman and Bertil Vallien have challenged eachother in their work within the arts right from the start when they first met in art school at the end of the 1950ths.
Ulrica Hydman Vallien and Bertil Vallien were both working in the art of ceramics but Bertil Vallien started working with glass at Afors in the 1960ths and in the beginning of the 1970ths Ulrica Hydman Vallien also changed her craft into working with glass.
In the year of 2008 51 percent of the production within Kosta Bodas brand were signed Vallien or Hydman Vallien.
